Job Title: Machinist
Location: Gonzales, LA
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure personal and team safety, maintaining high housekeeping standards.
- Set up and machine raw materials to meet OEM specifications.
- Cross-train on various machines to maintain production flow, including CNC and manual equipment.
- Understand material properties, cutting tools, and machining techniques.
- Interpret GD&T from part drawings accurately.
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
Skills Required:
- Experience with manual and CNC lathe and milling operations.
- Proficient in G-code and FANUC systems.
- Ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T).
- Strong understanding of machining procedures and adherence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Mechanical-related degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Welding knowledge and experience in the process control industry.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, CAD, and CAM software.
