Job Title: NOC Technician
Location: Melville NY, Rochester NY or Doral FL
Role Overview:
- Join our client’s team as a NOC Technician, where you’ll play a crucial role in monitoring network events and managing incidents in a 24/7 environment. This position involves direct communication with customers and collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor critical systems 24/7 and handle customer support calls
- Create tickets, perform initial triage, and resolve issues using documented processes
- Identify the impact and urgency of network alarms
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate support teams
- Maintain accountability for incident tickets until closure
- Communicate updates to customers and internal teams as needed
Skills Required:
- Strong work ethic and ability to multitask
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in written and verbal communication
- 1-2 years of experience in telecommunications or related fields
- Familiarity with telecommunications concepts and equipment
- Experience with network management systems and troubleshooting
