Job Title: Staff Engineering Technician
Location: Overland Park, KS (Onsite)
Job Summary:
Join our team as a Staff Engineering Technician, where you’ll leverage your expertise in AutoCAD Electrical and Substation Design Suite to support substation projects. This role requires a strong background in the substation industry and offers the opportunity to work on-site within 50 miles of our client’s office.
Job Responsibilities:
• Utilize AutoCAD Electrical and Substation Design Suite for drafting and design in the substation industry.
• Independently support drafting and design tasks, applying your 3-5 years of experience.
• Apply engineering standards and document control processes to create and modify deliverables.
• Coordinate project deliverables with other teams to ensure accuracy and minimize errors.
• Share knowledge of the latest technologies and processes, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to other engineering professionals.
Skills Required:
• 3-5 years of experience with AutoCAD Electrical and Substation Design Suite.
• Strong background in the substation industry.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in applying engineering standards and document control.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Education:
• Diploma or Certificate preferred.
• Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
