Job Title: Staff Engineering Technician
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)
Job Summary:
Join our team as a Staff Engineering Technician, where you’ll play a crucial role in supporting engineering and design teams. You’ll utilize your technical expertise to develop and modify site drainage, grading, and utility plans. This position requires proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation to create and maintain technical documentation and project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop site drainage, grading, and utility plans using Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation.
• Apply knowledge of standards, systems, and document control to ensure quality and consistency.
• Review project requirements and determine the correct format and contents of deliverables.
• Perform design calculations and detailed material estimates.
• Coordinate with design teams to exchange necessary project information.
• Support field activities and focus on client needs and interests.
Skills Required:
• Advanced experience with Autodesk Civil 3D, including pipe/pressure networks and grading.
• Familiarity with plan & profile drawings, alignments, and pipe networks.
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
• Basic knowledge of engineering standards and quality programs.
• Understanding of construction practices and engineering design principles.
Education:
Diploma or Certificate preferred. An Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology is advantageous.
