Job Title: Fleet Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary:
Join our team as a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic, where you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial equipment such as forklifts and aerial lifts. This role requires a seasoned professional with a knack for diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues in a fast-paced factory and warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in material handling equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Respond swiftly to service calls and equipment breakdowns.
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation.
• Manage inventory and order necessary replacement parts.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures at our client’s location.
Skills Required:
• Minimum of eight years’ experience in repairing forklifts, aerial lifts, or similar equipment.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
• Ability to read technical schematics and manuals.
• High school diploma or GED required.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with computer diagnostics and maintenance tracking.
• Experience with industrial batteries and charging systems.
• Knowledge of Hyster, Hoist, Crown, Genie, JLG, Taylor Dunn, and Columbia equipment.
