Job Title: Contracts Manager
Location: Cambridge, MA – Remote
Job Summary:
Join our client as a Contracts Manager in Cambridge, MA, where you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and executing various contracts, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and supporting R&D operations. This position offers flexibility with remote work options, requiring occasional on-site presence.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage and execute contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, and CDAs, ensuring compliance with our client’s policies.
• Oversee purchase order approvals, invoice reconciliation, and accrual reporting related to contracts.
• Collaborate with R&D, legal, and procurement teams to translate demand specifications into contract terms.
• Act as a liaison between R&D, legal, and procurement to ensure supplier services meet business requirements.
• Maintain a register of historical demand specifications and support contract management activities.
Skills Required:
• Strong understanding of drug discovery and development activities.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to work independently.
• Proficient in procurement systems like Ariba and legal systems such as Axxerion.
• Exceptional communication skills with experience in international partnerships.
• Proven negotiation skills and ability to manage complex tasks.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in science, business administration, contract law, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Flexible remote work with support for EST time zone; hybrid option available with 5 days on-site per month.
