Job Title: Senior Workstation/Server Engineer
Location: Hybrid in Columbia, SC
Job Summary:
Join our team as a Senior Workstation/Server Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in managing and automating software delivery across a vast enterprise environment. This position focuses on creating and deploying software packages, enhancing automation processes, and supporting workstation management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the automation of software delivery and deployment for a large-scale enterprise.
- Develop, test, and deploy EXE and MSI packages for seamless installations.
- Create and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and other scripting languages.
- Manage software updates and configurations using tools like BigFix.
- Oversee Windows 11 workstation environments and Citrix deployments.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure efficient and scalable software deployments.
Skills Required:
- Expertise in enterprise software packaging and deployment.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows 11 architecture.
- Experience with automated deployment tools such as BigFix or SCCM.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting; Python is a plus.
- Ability to create silent installations for EXE/MSI packages.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in software deployment and endpoint management.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid schedule: Onsite Tuesday-Thursday, Remote Monday & Friday.
- Fast-paced, technically complex setting.
