Job Summary:
Join our client in Santa Rosa, CA, as a Machinist, where you’ll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining machining processes using advanced machine tools. Collaborate with R&D teams to influence designs and ensure manufacturability of mechanical components for cutting-edge electronic measurement equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and sustain machining processes using Swiss Style Lathes, Multi-Turret Lathes, and 3 to 5 axis Milling centers.
• Collaborate with R&D to influence designs for mechanical components and assemblies.
• Ensure design for manufacturability and facilitate production support.
• Work closely with engineering, maintenance, and management teams.
• Support production and new product introduction (NPI) scheduling.
Skills Required:
• Proficiency in 3 to 5 axis milling and Swiss Style Lathes.
• Experience with CNC Programming and CAM Software.
• Knowledge of CAD/Solid Modeling and Tool Grinding.
• Ability to interpret specifications, including GD&T.
• Strong teamwork, positive attitude, and flexibility.
