Job Summary:
Join our team as a Senior Engineer, where you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing synthetic laboratory operations. This onsite position involves collaborating with a dynamic team to support small-molecule API drug substance development. Your expertise will drive innovation in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead day-to-day operations in the Synthetics Lab, executing experiments and providing technical support.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Design and conduct high-throughput experimentation (HTE) for reaction and solubility screening.
• Collaborate with chemists and engineers to analyze and document experimental data.
• Manage lab inventory and support equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to lab improvement initiatives and support training and EHSS compliance.
Skills Required:
• Strong foundation in chemical synthesis and laboratory operations.
• Experience with kilo-lab or pilot-scale environments preferred.
• Proficiency in HTE workflows and solid-state characterization techniques.
• Hands-on experience with analytical tools like HPLC, XRPD, and DSC/TGA.
• Familiarity with kinetic modeling and process analytical technology (PAT) tools.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
