Job Summary:
Join our client’s team as an Associate Lab Support Technician in Thousand Oaks, CA. Job Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain equipment such as cage wash, autoclave, and laminar air flow cabinets.
• Wash, autoclave, and prepare caging and equipment regularly.
• Provide care and husbandry for laboratory animals, including cage changes.
• Conduct daily health observations and handle laboratory animals, primarily rodents.
• Organize and maintain laboratory spaces using 5S and lean management principles.
• Support scientific experiments by providing necessary supplies and assistance.
Skills Required:
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Team player with a desire to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
• Experience in warehouse, production, or manufacturing environments is beneficial.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and retain training quickly.
