Job Title: Scientist
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (Hybrid)
Job Summary: Our team is seeking a dedicated Scientist to join the biopharmaceutical manufacturing sector. We focus on microbiology methods to ensure product quality and safety, playing a pivotal role in the company’s commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Support microbiology-related methods such as endotoxin, bioburden, and sterility.
- Conduct hands-on laboratory work, including method troubleshooting and evaluating new technologies.
- Collaborate with Process Development, Manufacturing, and Quality functions.
- Assist with sterile filtration validation testing and document creation.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Doctorate Degree OR Master’s Degree with 2 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience.
- Experience with microbiology methods such as endotoxin, bioburden, and sterility.
- Experience with sterile filter validation, including working with Brevundimonas diminuta.
- Experience working at a biopharmaceutical manufacturing site.
