Job Title: Clinical Development Scientist
Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented clinical professional to contribute strategic expertise in designing and supporting clinical study protocols for advanced patient monitoring devices. Our team values innovation in evidence generation and supports development within the hospital monitoring field, with a particular focus on cardiovascular and hemodynamic technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance on study design and development of clinical protocols, incorporating both retrospective and prospective methodologies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clinical study teams to facilitate quality study execution and effective communication with regulatory agencies.
- Support the delivery of key elements in clinical development plans, including site identification, selection, and engagement with investigators for successful study execution and enrollment.
- Review scientific literature, synthesize findings, and contribute to the preparation of manuscripts and presentations to ensure robust and up-to-date clinical evidence.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or an equivalent health science field is required.
- At least 2 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in clinical research, MedTech, or healthcare administration; no prior experience required with a Master’s degree.
- Experience designing and executing clinical or medical device studies, including knowledge of retrospective and prospective study designs.
- Demonstrated ability to perform systematic literature searches, analyze data, and communicate findings clearly to multidisciplinary stakeholders.
