Job Title: Proposal Coordinator
Location: Chesapeake, Virginia (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to contribute to business development by assisting in the creation and support of compelling proposals. Our team values strong collaborators who excel at coordinating processes, working closely with both leadership and technical teams to enhance company positioning with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing and documenting the proposal plan, including storyboards and proposal management strategies.
- Support proposal development alongside business development and project management to articulate the company’s value proposition.
- Coordinate review meetings, adjust materials in response to feedback, and assist with development of visual and graphic elements.
- Participate in industry events such as trade shows, conferences, and professional meetings, supporting booth setup and company representation.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading and editing capabilities.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
