Job Title: Proposal Strategist
Location: Chesapeake, Virginia (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to drive the development and execution of high-impact proposal strategies that win business for the organization. Our team takes pride in delivering strategic, compelling proposals that promote client success and support company growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive proposal plans, including storyboarding, team assignments, and win strategies aligned with business goals.
- Manage all aspects of the proposal process, from kick-off to pink team review, incorporating feedback and producing impactful visual materials.
- Coordinate post-submittal activities such as interviews and the preparation of award submissions for industry recognition.
- Represent the organization at professional associations, conferences, and trade shows, ensuring effective booth setup and professional networking.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of four years’ experience in marketing, business development, or sales within a professional services firm; experience with A/E firms preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated proficiency in Adobe InDesign strongly preferred.
- APMP certification or equivalent preferred.
