Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Englewood, Colorado (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a driven professional to drive the successful execution and delivery of multiple utility infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet operational goals from start to finish. Our team values project leadership, efficiency, and proactive risk management to support large-scale capital investment and optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing substation, transmission line, and telecommunication projects through all project stages, maintaining oversight of schedules, costs, and risks.
- Coordinate craft labor resources with approved vendors for construction, testing, and field activities, and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
- Develop multi-year capital expenditure plans, ensure synergy across project portfolios, and support preparation of rate filing and financial analyses as required.
- Create and manage efficient outage/construction sequences by analyzing project boundaries, conducting site walkdowns, and coordinating engineering documentation.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field and seven years of relevant project management experience in the construction industry; applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; preference for experience with project management, document control, scheduling, and cost control software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational capabilities, and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Experience managing high volumes of concurrent work in a fast-paced environment, preferably with utility-sector construction projects; basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles required.
