Job Title: NOC Technician
Location: Canonsburg, Pennsylvania (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking someone to provide critical support within a 24x7x365 Network Operations Center environment, ensuring network reliability and customer satisfaction through proactive surveillance and issue resolution. Our team values strong technical skills and a commitment to outstanding service for monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving network issues that directly impact business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and troubleshoot Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and Small Cell networks, utilizing specialized systems to resolve alarms and restore service.
- Analyze network issues, engage field operations and Tier 2 support, and coordinate with team members to ensure timely problem resolution.
- Communicate updates to clients regarding network problems, changes, and major outage events while maintaining internal records and escalation processes.
- Document and verify repairs through coordination with field personnel, managing change reviews and updates for both planned and unplanned network activities.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training in electronics or IT.
- Three to five years of customer service and/or service dispatch experience, with telecommunications or wireless experience preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with network management systems, strong technical troubleshooting abilities, and skilled use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to multi-task, provide detailed documentation, and maintain strong written and verbal communication in a fast-paced environment.
