Job Title: Process Development Engineer
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (Onsite)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team focused on advancing drug product technologies and manufacturing capabilities. Our team plays a vital role in supporting development, process validation, and technology transfer initiatives across multiple production lines, ensuring the highest standards of execution and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Apply engineering and scientific principles to address process improvements and evaluate impacts of changes in equipment, scale, or raw materials.
- Assist in designing and executing experiments to characterize and implement new capabilities and process changes, including filling, lyophilization, and analytical technologies.
- Support technology transfer leads during the transfer of drug products into manufacturing sites by contributing to process parameter risk assessments, process transfer documents, and change control assessments.
- Conduct analysis of experimental data, organize technical documentation, and effectively communicate results to cross-functional teams.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline, or Bachelor’s degree with at least two years’ relevant experience, or equivalent qualifications as detailed.
- Demonstrated ability to author, review, and verify technical documents, including protocols, assessments, reports, and draft standard operating procedures.
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, follow instructions, and adhere to company policies.
- Experience with software tools beyond Microsoft Office, with proficiency in group management, deadline adherence, and strong documentation skills.
