Job Title: Senior Pattern Engineer
Location: Beaverton, Oregon (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team and support technical pattern development for women’s athletic wear. Our team values candidates who bring expertise in garment construction and pattern adjustments to help deliver quality products and represent the brand in functional work.
Responsibilities:
- Develop technical clothing patterns based on designer sketches, focusing on pattern creation and fit assessment.
- Adjust existing garment patterns to refine construction, ensuring optimal fit and function for women’s athletic wear.
- Support functional design processes and contribute technical expertise in producing high-quality, athlete-facing products.
- Utilize web-based record-keeping tools to add comments on pattern changes and maintain documentation on garment construction.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical design, specifically in pattern making or adjusting patterns for women’s athletic wear.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating pattern knowledge, garment construction skills, and complexity of previous design work.
- Comprehensive knowledge of garment construction techniques, with proficiency in working with knits; experience with wovens is considered beneficial.
- Familiarity with performance wear and outerwear, as well as digital platforms such as PDM, PCX, PLM, or web-based documentation tools.
