Job Title: Engineer
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah (Hybrid)
Job Summary: Our team is searching for a seasoned technical expert to drive the testing and reliability of cutting-edge electromechanical medical devices. We leverage these systems throughout their lifecycle to identify and implement enhancements, ensuring robust product performance in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Lead root cause analysis on failures observed during testing.
- Develop test protocols and test plans utilizing Helix ALM for both electrical and mechanical subsystems and system-level testing.
- Participate in and conduct engineering product design reviews and investigations.
- Innovate and maintain environmental, shock, vibration, and ingress testing methodologies.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in an engineering field, preferably with a focus on testing.
- Proficiency in environmental testing, such as temperature, humidity, and altitude investigations.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in FDA-regulated industries and MIL-STD-810 compliance.
