Job Title: FTTH Network Engineer

Job Summary: We seek driven professionals to join our team in advancing the build-out and optimization of next-generation fiber-optic networks. Our team leverages expertise in telecommunications engineering to shape critical digital infrastructure for communities across the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Design, review, and coordinate engineering plans for outside plant fiber deployments, ensuring alignment with project requirements and specifications.
- Lead proactive assessments of outside plant facilities to identify opportunities for upgrades and enhancements.
- Interface with local, state, and national authorities as well as utility partners for permitting, right-of-way, and joint trench design efforts.
- Maintain accurate engineering records, manage documentation in GIS/AutoCAD-based systems, and facilitate communications across cross-functional teams.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience preferred; minimum of 3 to 5 years in outside plant engineering, ideally within a local exchange environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in fiber-to-the-home deployment, outside plant design, cable count layout, and capacity planning.
- Experience with right of way, permitting, and project management involving local, state, and federal entities.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD-based GIS tools, Microsoft Office applications, and strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams and with external stakeholders.
