Job Title: Associate Scientist
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: Our team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the state-of-the-art research facility and contribute to protein chemistry endeavors. We drive innovation through a multidisciplinary approach, enhancing capabilities in protein purification and analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize preparative protein chromatography techniques including affinity, ion-exchange, and size-exclusion.
- Employ analytical methods such as HPLC and MCE for protein analytics.
- Capture and manage experimental data within LIMS/ELN systems.
- Summarize and present findings to work groups and project teams efficiently.
Required:
- Proficiency in protein purification, particularly using chromatography techniques.
- Hands-on experience with protein analytical techniques and software like Chromeleon or LabChip.
- Strong data management capabilities and experimental data handling skills.
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in protein purification or analytics, or a Master’s degree with at least 1 year of experience.
