Job Title: Senior Risk and Control Advisor
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to provide oversight of risk management activities for major change initiatives within a leading organization. Our team values proactive engagement with business partners to ensure project risks are efficiently identified and communicated across all governance levels.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Independent Risk Management activities for Tier 1 Delivery Projects, ensuring alignment among risk partners, project managers, and business sponsors.
- Facilitate regular governance meetings with business and risk teams to update on project risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with lines of business to support and challenge Process, Risk, and Control (PRC) analysis throughout the project life cycle.
- Monitor and enhance compliance with organizational risk management programs, reporting key risk concerns to higher-level management and relevant partners.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience; higher-level education and specific certifications are desirable.
- Industry experience in risk management, compliance reporting, or change management, with at least 8+ years in similar environments preferred.
- Proficiency using SharePoint and demonstrated strengths in customer risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and risk controls.
- Strong interpersonal skills including leading meetings, facilitation, clear communication, and critical thinking for effective decision-making.
