Job Title: Mechanical Project Development Engineer
Location: New Kensington, Pennsylvania (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to design and develop complex mechanical components for regulated medical devices. Our team is committed to driving innovation, quality, and compliance in every stage of product development.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust, manufacturable mechanical components and assemblies for medical devices based on engineering requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and system-level issues while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure on-time production and improve product reliability.
- Evaluate and select mechanical components, materials, and suppliers to meet designated performance, manufacturability, and cost objectives.
- Create and execute mechanical test plans and validation activities, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical, system design, or hardware engineering, specifically within a regulated or medical device environment.
- Direct experience with Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA); proficiency with Trackwise and SAP highly preferred.
- Ability to meet physical, cognitive, and environmental requirements necessary to perform the duties of the position with or without accommodation.
