Job Title: Patient Support Specialist – NJ
Location: Whippany, New Jersey (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking candidates who are committed to delivering empathetic and comprehensive support to patients accessing prescription medication programs. Our team is dedicated to enhancing both access to care and the overall patient experience through direct interaction and high-level service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to inbound and outbound phone calls and address claims from patients, physicians, and pharmacies, ensuring clarity and support throughout the patient journey.
- Focus on patient empathy and optimize the consumer experience, driving adherence to medication and program goals.
- Escalate requests as needed while collaborating with internal teams such as Program Management, IT, and other Contact Center teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Assist with additional assignments, including administrative tasks such as mail sorting or claims processing, as required by management.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of experience in healthcare or case management within a high-volume contact center or similar environment preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to convey information clearly, active listening, and effective writing abilities.
- Demonstrated customer empathy, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and effective problem-solving skills.
