Job Title: Mobile Engineer HVAC/R
Location: Lansing, Michigan (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated professional to help maintain and operate facility HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical systems. Our team depends on skilled individuals to ensure optimal performance and reliability of all equipment while delivering outstanding service to building occupants.
Responsibilities:
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair response work on facility mechanical, electrical, HVAC/R systems, and associated equipment.
- Maintain and operate all related systems, including electrical distribution, plumbing, building repair, and production equipment.
- Conduct facility inspections and reports, ensuring compliance and addressing conditions impacting client occupancy and operations.
- Comply with safety procedures, perform hazard assessments, and maintain records of work performed using CMMS systems such as Corrigo.
Required:
- Minimum of four years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and equipment maintenance.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required; Universal CFC recovery certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs., work from heights, climb ladders up to 30 feet, and perform frequent physical activities, including bending and kneeling.
- Valid state driver's license and willingness to be available for call-in work as part of an On Call schedule.
