Job Title: Mobile Engineer
Location: Champaign, Illinois (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated professional to support the operation, inspection, and maintenance of HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within critical facilities. Responsibilities:
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, HVAC/R, plumbing, and other installed systems and equipment.
- Maintain, operate, and repair building interior and exterior systems, including lighting, roofing systems, installed fixtures, and production equipment.
- Conduct facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on conditions that may impact client occupancy and operations.
- Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo to manage and document all work activities, submitting purchase card receipts daily and updating work order statuses in real time.
Required:
- Universal CFC recovery certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Minimum of four years of technical experience in building engineering, with demonstrated strength in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting and maintaining commercial or supermarket refrigeration systems, with understanding of system design and applications.
- Valid state driver’s license and availability for call-in work as required.
