Job Title: Mail Courier
Location: Oakland, California (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to ensure the seamless and timely transportation of critical documents and packages within a leading organization. Our team values proactive individuals who deliver excellent service through efficient operations, adaptability, and exceptional communication.
Responsibilities:
- Transport and deliver confidential documents, packages, and hardware to various office and employee locations, adhering to assigned routes and schedules.
- Utilize delivery tracking software for route optimization and maintain accurate transportation logs and chain-of-custody records.
- Support cross-functional office operations, including mailroom shipping and receiving, event support, and work order fulfillment.
- Maintain postal and material handling equipment while managing postage meters and P.O. boxes as required.
Required:
- Valid driver’s license issued by the relevant state and a demonstrably clean driving record.
- Ability to ensure confidentiality when processing sensitive company, legal, or employee information.
- Strong data entry and recordkeeping skills for accurate package and mail tracking.
- Demonstrated punctuality and reliability with the ability to consistently meet delivery deadlines.
