Job Title: Technical Designer
Location: Everett, Washington (On-site)
Job Summary: We partner with an established organization to deliver expert drafting and design concepts that support a full range of fabrication and production processes. Our team plays a key role in ensuring operational and quality excellence throughout the entire product life cycle by collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Apply fundamental drafting principles and design concepts to resolve product and process issues in a real-time fabrication setting.
- Create drafted parts and product structures that address operational and quality concerns based on engineering input.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the product life cycle to implement design changes and improvements.
- Engage in a fast-paced, agile environment and participate in model definition changes to translate conceptual ideas into tangible product geometry and assembly definition.
Required:
- Associate degree and proven experience in drafting classification, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- 9+ years of experience working with aerospace design, including detail and assembly parts.
- Proficiency with CATIA or equivalent solid modeling systems and Integrated Visualization Tool (IVT).
- Understanding of the machining of metallic parts and design product structure (details, parts, assemblies, installations).
