Job Title: Systems Engineer
Location: Everett, Washington (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled professional to drive systems engineering activities within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Our team is dedicated to ensuring robust system development, compliance with industry standards, and the successful delivery of innovative engineering solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support requirements definition, decomposition, and allocation from aircraft-level to system and item level.
- Develop and maintain functional and logical system architecture while ensuring alignment with safety objectives and certification standards.
- Guide item design and implementation, overseeing traceability and supporting verification and validation activities across the V-model.
- Collaborate across software, hardware, safety, and test engineering teams, providing documentation and support for certification authorities.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical/computer engineering, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience with the systems engineering lifecycle in aerospace, automotive, or complex system domains.
- Hands-on experience with requirements, design, implementation, verification, and validation using V-Diagram processes, and knowledge of safety assessments (FHA, PSSA, SSA, CMA, FMEA/FMES).
- Familiarity with certification frameworks (ARP4754A, ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254), strong analytical thinking, technical writing, and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
