Job Title: Java Lead
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an expert in enterprise application development to drive modernization initiatives and influence key technology projects. Our team is responsible for mission-critical consumer deposit and account migration programs, contributing to the streamlined experience and expanded digital platforms within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of large-scale, distributed software systems using modern Java frameworks.
- Collaborate in an agile team environment, closely aligning with business analysts, scrum masters, and multiple developers to deliver high-impact projects.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and enable cloud and container-based deployments.
- Consult on interface requirements and troubleshoot complex technical challenges throughout the software system lifecycle.
Required:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java/J2EE (advanced level) in enterprise-scale applications and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency with Spring Boot or Spring Cloud, Hibernate, RESTful API design, and event-driven platforms (e.g., Kafka or RabbitMQ).
- Familiarity with databases including Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL options such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Demonstrated skills with container orchestration platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes), CI/CD tools, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
