Job Title: GCP IAM Engineer
Location: Plano, Texas (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to support our team in implementing and operating robust GCP identity and access controls for secure and efficient application onboarding in a regulated environment. Our team is committed to maintaining secure access patterns and audit-ready processes, partnering closely with stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provision and manage IAM configurations, including roles, bindings, and service accounts across projects, using Terraform and Git-based workflows.
- Implement least-privilege access patterns for both runtime identity and human access, adhering to enterprise security standards.
- Support identity integrations, group and role mappings, and produce onboarding evidence such as access approvals and audit log documentation.
- Troubleshoot access issues and collaborate with platform, network, and security teams to resolve any blockers efficiently.
Required:
- Hands-on experience with GCP IAM, including roles, service accounts, and policy inheritance concepts.
- Working knowledge of Terraform fundamentals, with experience in modules and state management, and disciplined use of Git/PR workflows.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and validation tasks.
- Familiarity with change and release management processes within controlled environments.
