Job Title: Color Design 3
Location: Beaverton, OR (Hybrid)
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop trend-relevant, narrative-driven color concepts for footwear, ensuring product excellence through design, development, and manufacturing.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Footwear and Apparel Color Designers, Developers, and Product Line Managers.
- Stay at the forefront of color trends, fashion, art, and sports-related products through research and consumer insights.
- Create palettes and color flows in line with category color strategies, working closely with other designers and directors.
- Plan and execute product color details, reviewing samples and troubleshooting for any issues to ensure timely project completion.
- Support the design team with color design tasks as needed beyond assigned projects.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in a design environment focusing on footwear color, materials, and trends.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Keynote on a Mac Platform.
- Strong understanding of color technology, including materials, dyes, and finishes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work quickly and adapt to last-minute changes while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Understanding of the Footwear Product Creation process, a plus.
- Passion for Design.
