Job Title: Senior Oracle Developer
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Onsite)
Job Summary: We are seeking a talented professional to create and lead the technical design and development of robust software solutions for a strategic enterprise group. Our team is dedicated to advancing business initiatives through innovative methodologies and technical leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Create and guide the development of complex software solutions addressing critical business needs.
- Review and document technical and procedural workflows, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Facilitate resolution of intricate problems and provide technical guidance and support to colleagues.
- Utilize modern principles, methodologies, and tools to deliver technical projects within an Agile/Scrum team environment.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Expert-level hands-on development in Oracle database (PL/SQL), including query performance tuning and extensive experience with very large data sets.
- Background in database design, programming, and data warehouse concepts, preferably within the banking sector focused on regulatory applications.
- Knowledge of data modeling and prior experience with regulatory submissions, liquidity risk management, and related industry practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience; relevant certifications such as Oracle OCP/OCE (DBA/PLSQL), Exadata, GoldenGate preferred.
