Job Title: Color Design
Location: Beaverton, OR (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to execute and influence the color direction for apparel lines within a high-energy consumer-focused environment. Our team relies on strategic creativity to ensure products are visually compelling, commercially successful, and aligned with current market and lifestyle trends.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute color designs that align with strategic marketing and product goals, collaborating across design, development, and merchandising functions.
- Deliver innovative and retailable color solutions, leveraging comprehensive research of color, design, and lifestyle trends impactful to the category.
- Maintain detailed color calendars and manage project timelines, ensuring timely completion and finalization of all color-related deliverables.
- Communicate seasonal color direction, merchandising strategies, and creative solutions to internal stakeholders through effective presentations and materials.
Required:
- Minimum of 8 years’ color design experience focused on apparel; portfolio must demonstrate the process from inspiration to final palette.
- Proven ability to develop color strategies for a range of commercial products, showcasing experience translating premium inspiration into accessible lines.
- Advanced proficiency with design tools including Illustrator, Photoshop, and experience managing multiple large projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree plus directly relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible work history as detailed in the job description.
