Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Lombard, Illinois (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a professional who will play a critical role installing, maintaining, and repairing production machines and equipment within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Our team relies on individuals who bring both technical skills and a commitment to maintaining operational safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain production machines and equipment, ensuring efficient and reliable operations.
- Diagnose issues, replace or repair parts, and conduct necessary adjustments to restore machine functionality during both routine and urgent scenarios.
- Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance tasks utilizing a variety of hand tools, power tools, and electric meters.
- Detect faulty operations or defective material, reporting unusual situations to appropriate supervision to maintain safety and productivity.
Required:
- Demonstrated ability to perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair on production equipment.
- Experience reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to execute required maintenance and service.
- Proficient with hand and power tools, material handling equipment, and related maintenance tools.
- Commitment to complying with all safety regulations and maintaining clean, orderly work areas.
