Job Title: Lead Java Developer
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an accomplished professional to support complex IT development and database initiatives on a high-impact consumer deposit team. Our team drives critical migration projects, modernizing financial platforms and supporting the transition to next-generation architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within an Agile development environment to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade solutions for consumer banking initiatives.
- Modify existing databases, manage database management systems, and coordinate development efforts across cross-functional teams.
- Design and implement application logic, physical database descriptions, and interface directly with stakeholders to clarify requirements.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues in complex software and distributed systems to ensure seamless project delivery.
Required:
- Extensive hands-on experience in Java 11+, Spring/Spring Boot, and proficiency with MongoDB or SQL databases.
- Familiarity with OpenShift or another cloud platform, plus experience with microservices architecture and enterprise-scale applications.
- Proven ability to work independently, communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, and proactively contribute to team objectives.
- High school diploma and bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
