Job Title: Senior Software automation test engineer
Location: San Diego, California (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to ensure high-quality software deliverables through rigorous testing methods. Our team values expertise in automation and collaboration to drive the overall quality assurance process and support innovative solutions within agile and scrum environments.
Responsibilities:
- Execute both automated and manual testing activities throughout the development cycle to maintain software quality and meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with scrum teams and stakeholders on test planning, execution, and demo activities to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Utilize automation tools, simulation models, test frameworks, and scripting languages to streamline and enhance the testing process.
- Document detailed test plans, protocols, and reports to ensure transparency and accountability in testing activities and outcomes.
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in areas such as Software Development, Software Design and Architecture, Testing and Quality Assurance; no prior experience required with a Master's degree.
- ISTQB Advanced certification is required.
- Proficiency in scripting, automation, agile methodology, CI/CD, and system integration testing; strong skills in requirements analysis and documentation.
