Job Title: LNG CAD Designer
Location: Waltham, Massachusetts (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking a professional to support essential LNG operations by producing, updating, and maintaining compliant technical drawings using AutoCAD. Our team values accuracy, attention to detail, and strong collaboration throughout all project phases to ensure safe and effective project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and revise Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), general layouts, fabrication drawings, isometrics, and pipe support details using AutoCAD.
- Set up and manage organized file systems for drawing databases with standardized naming conventions, ensuring all document control practices are followed.
- Perform site visits for field verification and drawing accuracy, coordinating with engineers, project teams, and external vendors as needed.
- Support construction and start-up activities by maintaining drawings in “as built” status and assisting with the development of as-built records for facilities and capital projects.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent, and either an associate degree or at least three years of practical experience.
- Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD, with experience using CADWorx and/or AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple project phases and teams.
- Physical ability to walk, climb, and stand during site visits; willingness to travel up to 10% as required for the role.
