Job Title: Contractor Software Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled software professional to support mission-critical technology initiatives across the Customer Billing and Meter-to-Cash domain. Our team values individuals who are eager to work with established mainframe technologies in a dynamic enterprise IT environment and contribute to impactful projects serving both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support software solutions in the Customer Billing domain.
- Contribute to project initiatives on legacy enterprise platforms, including CSS and Meter-to-Cash services.
- Collaborate with team members across business, technology, and vendor organizations to deliver project objectives.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle using Waterfall, Agile, or SAFe methodologies.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on development experience.
- Hands-on experience with mainframe technologies, including COBOL (academic, internship, or professional experience acceptable).
- Foundational understanding of enterprise application development concepts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
