Job Title: Mainframe Developer
Location: Columbia, South Carolina (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking results-oriented professionals to join our team supporting the development, design, and maintenance of critical enterprise-level mainframe applications. Our team collaborates to deliver robust solutions for essential business processes and system integrations in a fast-paced, multi-platform setting.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and technical requirements to design, develop, and implement application solutions.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain programs supporting data integration and transaction processing.
- Evaluate system interdependencies, assess change impacts, and deliver timely enhancements or solutions aligned with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integrations, operational support, and rotating on-call responsibilities.
Required:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in application development, systems testing, or related technical roles.
- Technical expertise with COBOL (Mainframe/Micro Focus), CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, IBM Batch, JCL, Easytrieve, APS Code Generator, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work on-site in Columbia, SC; must be eligible to pass a background check including credit screening, and meet requirements for regulated or government projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with experience supporting multi-platform environments and system integrations.
