Job Title: Technician – Integration Engineering – B
Location: Merritt Island, Florida (On-Site)
Job Summary: Our team is dedicated to ensuring safe and efficient human spaceflight through expert integration engineering. We focus on setting up specialized production areas and operating precision tools to support the mission of space exploration with optimal safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Configure new production work areas with essential tooling and equipment for efficient workflow in high-rate manufacturing environments.
- Operate material handling and precision calibrated tools to uphold rigorous safety and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and transitioning from development to production.
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces adhering to 5S principles to enhance operational efficiency.
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or aircraft heavy maintenance.
- Expertise in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications with precision.
- Proficient in using calibrated tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, and optical measuring instruments.
- Proficiency in digital tools, including Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
