Job Title: Technician – Integration Engineering – C
Location: Merritt Island, Florida (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking individuals to deliver technical expertise and support critical spacecraft production for human spaceflight initiatives. Our team is dedicated to ensuring safety and exceptional quality by continuously optimizing processes within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Configure production work areas, tooling, and equipment to support efficient workflow and transition into high-rate manufacturing environments.
- Operate material handling equipment and precision calibrated tools while maintaining high safety and quality standards in line with strict procedural requirements.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects focused on increasing safety, overall efficiency, and productivity within the workspace.
- Prepare and test payload systems and hardware, applying thermal protection systems, conducting repairs, testing, and assisting with vehicle assembly and installation tasks.
Required:
- At least 2 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, aircraft heavy depot-level maintenance, or related field.
- Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications accurately and utilizing precision calibration tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser trackers, optical measurement tools).
- Ability to lift 50lbs, work at heights or in confined spaces, and apply adhesives, sealants, and thermal blankets as required by procedures.
- Strong digital literacy, including proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
