Job Title: Technician – Integration Engineering – D
Location: Merritt Island, Florida (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to contribute technical expertise and leadership toward supporting safe and efficient human spaceflight. Our team empowers candidates to configure, maintain, and optimize production work areas while upholding high standards for quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Configure new production work areas with the necessary tooling and equipment to ensure efficient workflow and minimize potential delays during the transition to high-rate manufacturing.
- Operate material handling equipment and precision calibrated tools to maintain high safety and quality standards within the workspace.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects focused on safety and efficiency to enhance overall productivity.
- Prepare and test payload systems and hardware by applying TPS materials, conducting sealing, repairs, testing, and assisting with vehicle assembly and installation.
Required:
- 2 or more years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, aircraft heavy depot level maintenance, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
- Experience with precision calibration tools, including torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, and optical measuring instruments.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and comfort working at heights (work stands, ladders, lifts) and/or in confined spaces.
