Job Title: User Experience (UX) Researcher II
Location: New York, New York (Remote) – MUST work EST 
Experience researching advertising, monetization, or two-sided marketplace products is required 

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced researcher to join our global team and drive insights that help shape the future of advertising experiences. Our team collaborates across multiple disciplines to uncover user needs, guiding product strategy and evaluation.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct end-to-end research on key advertising products and listener experiences – from scoping and design to synthesis and storytelling.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and other cross functional stakeholders to define research questions, select appropriate methods, and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Lead strategic and tactical studies that inform product and UX decisions across the Ads business, including envisioning new ad experiences in the clients app
  • Contribute to the broader Global Ads Research practice – sharing insights, improving research processes, and supporting cross-functional alignment.
  • Communicate findings through clear storytelling that connects user needs to product and business impact.

Requirements for the role: 

  • Experience researching advertising, monetization, or two-sided marketplace products.
  • 5+ years of experience as a user researcher in product, UX, or digital experience environments.
  • Skilled in a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods, from interviews and usability testing to surveys and concept evaluation.
  • Confident in scoping ambiguous problems, managing stakeholders, and prioritizing work in fast-paced, cross-functional settings.
  • Strong communicator who can translate complex findings into clear, compelling narratives for technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • Curious, collaborative, and passionate about creating meaningful, user-centered advertising experiences.
  • Familiarity with data analysis, experimentation, or survey tools (e.g., DScout, UserTesting, User Interviews, Qualtrics) & open to experimenting / learning AI tools and methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence product direction through user insights.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree (or equivalent experience) in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Comparative Human Development or a related field.
