Job Title: Stationary Operating Engineer
Location: Andover, Massachusetts (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking professionals who thrive in environments where critical building systems demand continuous operation and maintenance. Our team ensures facility reliability, efficiency, and safety through consistent oversight and technical expertise in large-scale equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain high-pressure steam and hot water boilers, ensuring compliance with manufacturer recommendations and applicable permits or regulations.
- Monitor water testing, treatment, and chemical use for boilers and chilled water systems, maintaining adherence to the site water safety management plan.
- Document site activities, incidents, equipment failures, round readings, and update engineering logs promptly and accurately.
- Collaborate professionally with the operations team, monitor subcontractor activities, and provide feedback to the Chief Engineer while supporting facility maintenance as needed.
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum Massachusetts 3rd class stationary engineer’s License.
- Ability to work any shift as required for shift coverage.
- 2+ years operating 2nd class steam plants.
