Job Title: Java Solution Architect
Location: Farmers Branch, Texas (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled professional to provide technical leadership for a real-time decisioning platform. Our team values individuals who bring hands-on expertise in advanced Java development while setting high standards for quality, reliability, and long-term maintainability across all technical initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of core platform components to address complex and ambiguous technical challenges at scale.
- Ensure best practices in code quality, performance tuning, security, reliability, and long-term support of solutions.
- Collaborate within a scrum team of 8-9 members, fostering strong communication and teamwork throughout agile development cycles.
- Set a high bar by demonstrating technical leadership through daily hands-on coding and system architecture guidance.
Required:
- Demonstrated expertise in modern Java (Java 17+/Java 21) and Spring Boot, with experience in hands-on solution architecture.
- Experience with MongoDB, distributed system design, performance tuning, and building REST APIs.
- Proficiency in observability and reliability practices, including logging and tracing, along with exposure to cloud environments (any cloud, preferably Red Hat OpenShift).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to excel in an Agile/Scrum environment.
