Job Title: Staff Project Controls Specialist
Location: Wallingford, Connecticut (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to drive successful project controls processes, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. Our team values analytical expertise and strong communication skills to support project execution and reporting across multiple disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project controls processes, including project setup, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting to maintain effective project delivery.
- Develop and implement project schedules, cost reports, cash flows, forecasts, and work breakdown structures using designated software tools.
- Collaborate with project management and accounting teams to review costs, change orders, and support audits and project execution plans.
- Perform quality checks, progress measurement, and field audits to validate reporting and ensure compliance with established standards.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; applicable experience may substitute for this requirement.
- Minimum of 3 years of direct project controls experience.
- Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
