Job Title: Engineer
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced individual to lead the development of packaging solutions for biologics and combination products. Our team values innovation and compliance, ensuring all packaging meets global regulatory standards and enhances product delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead development and optimization of secondary & tertiary packaging for biologics and sterile injectables.
- Create and maintain specifications for packaging components like vials, stoppers, and labels.
- Develop and execute comprehensive packaging test protocols, including environmental and shelf-life studies.
- Ensure compliance with global regulatory expectations and prepare documentation for submissions.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7+ years of relevant experience in packaging engineering.
- Strong understanding of cGMP, sterile product packaging, and biologics/combination product considerations.
- Experience with packaging validation and ISTA/ASTM distribution testing.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
