Job Title: Patient Support Specialist – NJ
Location: Whippany, New Jersey (On-site)
Job Summary: Our team is seeking service-oriented professionals to deliver exceptional patient support services focused on enabling access to prescription medications. We help make a difference in patients’ healthcare experiences and contribute to positive outcomes by providing quality assistance for copay assistance programs.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound and outbound telephone calls to assist patients, physicians, and pharmacies with access to care and reimbursement inquiries.
- Provide program information, eligibility support, and general guidance to facilitate access to care and enhance the patient experience.
- Refer complex or escalated requests to internal teams such as Program Management, IT, or other contact center areas for resolution.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, which may include mail sorting or claims processing to support operational efficiency.
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED completed.
- At least 1 year of experience in health care or case management within a high-volume contact center or similar environment.
- Communication skills with the ability to actively listen, convey information clearly, and use correct writing mechanics.
- Customer-focused approach with high empathy, adaptability, and critical thinking skills to efficiently resolve issues.
