Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
Location: Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking a subject matter expert to design, implement, and support complex computer network infrastructure within a highly collaborative team. Our team drives the onboarding of new technologies and ensures secure, reliable connectivity for large enterprise environments.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches as part of network refresh and branch/site expansion initiatives.
- Submit and track change requests in compliance with organizational policies, and coordinate equipment staging and shipping for projects.
- Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and real estate teams to deliver on large-scale customer initiatives while following Agile practices.
- Document network configurations, track changes, and provide support in resolving network performance issues and process improvements.
Required:
- 6–8 years of network engineering experience in Cisco environments with a degree in Computer Science or related field, or 8–10 years of proven experience without a degree.
- Hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and supporting Cisco routers and switches in enterprise settings.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies and experience working with ticketing and change request processes.
- CCNA certification (required); CCNP certification (preferred).
